Damn Wakely Dam Ultra

The 2002 Damn Wakely Dam Ultra kicked off slightly behind schedule on 20 JUL 01 at 6:20AM. The BUS ride from Wakely Dam to the start took a tad longer than expected even though our top speed reached nearly 35 MPH. Some runners thought about getting out and jogging but then thought better of it. The morning started off cool but gave way to a another warm sunny day in the Adirondacks.
