Kevin Topp
Kevin Topp (brother of Jeff Topp) drove up from Tabb, Virginia to show his son Jeremy that New York isn't just about tall buildings and rude people. While most dads would just send the boy off with the scouts, Kevin though a 32.6 mile run through the wilderness would be more "fun." Or maybe there was an ulterior motive? You know, it's not easy to keep five kids in $100 running shoes. So much for the Hansel and Gretel plan because Jeremy made it out...on top (pun intended). Kevin finished in 34th place just behind Hansel with a finish time of only 8:44:40.
