I've heard that a hard run can take a lot out of a man, but this is a new one for us.  Mark Mills started Wakely a vibrant young man.  But the Mark Mills that raised his arms as he crossed the dam seemed, well... wiser -- more experienced.  Oh shucks... he looked freak'n old!  Was it the mud?  The miles?  Or was it getting his butt whooped by an 18 year old girl just minutes from the finish?  We may never know.
