| Wakely's course record is safe... at least for this year. Try as he might, the trail conditions this year put Ian Schouten's 4:54:49 mark just out of reach of returning Pennsylvanian Barth. After being sidelined earlier in the year due to foot surgery, Alex made a great come back scoring a sub-5 hour result - only the second runner to have done so. Congratulations! |
